Just another update

Not much going on. I have today off. I got my flu shot yesterday while at work (AKA Walgreens) ^^ I was scared XD I've put it off for a while, but I decided to get it just for peace of mind since I work around so many people. Unfortunately, if I want protection from the H1N1 viruse (which I like to call the 'heinie' virus XD) I need to get a separate vaccine, but my store won't get it until mid-October or so. Other stores have it, though. I'd suggest anyone able to get the vaccines, GET THEM. I was worried it would hurt, but I told myself that 3 seconds of getting a needle stuck in my arm (ew ew ew!) would be worth a year's worth of protection from an icky, painful illness. The pharmacist who did it did really good. She didn't let me look at the process, (Which I'd already seen her conduct it on two other patients, she, like, JABBED the needle into the muscle
; but everyone was saying that they could barely feel it). I felt it, but it didn't hurt. Maybe a quick jab is better as opposed to SLOW INSERTION of a sharp needle. I was giddy for a few seconds after (because it was over, yay!) and could actually feel it kinda dispersing from the area... it was really, REALLY weird. I don't think I've ever had a flu shot before, so that's why I'm being dumb XDI still have my band-aid on. It still feels a little weird; but maybe that's because there's a day-old band-aid on my arm XD
In other news, I finally posted chapter... 4? Yeah, chapter 4 of Bound to You (AKA CotH 2) on fanfiction.net ^^
Erm... Not much else. I should really schedule an eye exam appointment sometime soon...

Yuck for the shot. I still need to get mine. The hospitals here are already loaded with patients diagnosed with the flu whether it be seasonal or the H1N1.

Walgreens gives the flu shots for $24.99 (I'm guessing that this may also be the price for the H1N1, I'm not certain), but they're less if you're an employee; ^^ I was scared too, but it'll lead to less worrying for me, I'm already scared enough about regular germs XD

They were very disorganized last week anyway because the guy that interviewed me and hired me was gone the day I went up there, so I'm sure it's not his fault entirely really.
