-To my grandma today! I got to see her yesterday on my trip to Ohio. I stopped by her house before going to my mom's (becuase no one was home; mom was working, my stepdad was out, and I didn't bring a key). Grandma's still the same, only her hearing's not getting any better. We chatted for a while and then she got my uncles up, so I got to see them. Man, I miss being home.
I also got to meet Morris, the kitty. Also known as 'Mo', or 'Cat'. XD He was a bundle of energy, and is super adorable. I got some pictures of him on my phone (because I forgot my camera DX); he's like a miniature of their previous cat.
Around 2, My grandma and one of my uncles had to go to the store, and before they left, she came up to me and said 'If I don't see you again before you leave, here's some traveling money', and she handed me $25 ^^
After they left, I watched a little bit of Bolt with my other uncle (Who's a cartoon lover), but at 2 I went to my mom's house, where my stepdad was hanging out and my mom was set to come home from work within a few minutes. I got to see Sheba, who's excitement consisted of 'rub my belly, NOW, please.'
Once my mom came home, I gave her her VERY belated birthday card and presents. Then we decided to skip having turkey leftovers for dinner and opted to go to one of our favorite spots, El Toro Loco, the local Mexican resturaunt ^^ My stepdad doesn't like Mexican food, so we got him some Chinese food afterwards XD
Ohhh... Toro Loco still makes a mean shrimp chimichanga...
Afterwards, when mom and I went to go get my stepdad's food and wait for it to cook, we went to Big Lots to see what kind of stuff they had. I found a few things to snatch, like a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer-themed hot cocoa set, some minty cookies, and an Ohio State Santa hat.
After shopping and returning dinner to my stepdad, mom and I went back to my grandma's. Morris was nowhere to be found ( I wanted to see him more), but I got to chat with grandma and one of my uncles more. Around 4:30, my dad called and asked if I was ready to go. I wanted to stay, but he wanted to go visit one of his brothers before leaving, so I decided to head on out. I was surprised when dad came and he and mom chatted for a few minutes (which is rare) about an old schoolmate that dad had just seen.
Aftwerwards, we drove through the country (I mean country, like, Amish central), dad got something to eat at a little shake shop and I got a milkshake, and went to my uncle's house. He and my aunt were setting up Christmas decorations. I love this house they live in. I think my uncle built it (along with some help from other guys). The outside is gorgeous and I've been in it once, but that was a couple years ago. Dad and him chatted outside, in the cold, for about an hour (I stood around, this is normal), and we finally got on the road. I felt bad because my dad was the one driving for 3-4 hours while I'm in the passenger-side seat about to fall asleep
But we finally made it home safely. I hafta work today T_T But I have tomorrow off, so that's cool. Hey, Cherry, were we still wanting to hang out tomorrow?
