Wow... I didn't keep track of how long this took, but it must have been close to 2 hours. I'm thoroughly pleased with it, however ^^ I'm still working on my shading techniques, so it may be a little odd looking, especially in the face, but I think it came out all right.
I think the only major flaw is his left shoulder. It looks out of place.
This is one where I would appreciate some feedback; I'd like to hear about what you all think about it.
tools: pencil, Pilot Precise V.5 XFine pen, Prismacolor pencils with a smidgeon of RoseArt colored pencils used.
First things first: I absolutely ADORE the rendering on the metal bracelets on his upper arms, very nice. Shading on his shirt could be a tad more gradated, going more from dark to light instead of the thick lines you've got. Light colors are sometimes difficult to work with, same as with really dark colors, like black. In other words, the shading on his shirt could be a bit more blended, and not so clear cut. The shading on his blue garment is fabulous, however. With his chest, the shading under his pecs should be a bit more rounded, instead of so straight across, and is the shirt is as form fitting as it appears, then there should be only a minimal amount of shading where the cloth meets torso. Shading on the face looks pretty good, as with the hair.
I hope this helps, I'm not too good at explaining things, lol.

Yeah, I see how the lines on the shirt could be faded more.
He actually doesn't have pec muscles XD He's flat chested and really doesn't have abs cause he's a pre-teen (age 12); I'm sure kids that age could have pecs, but he doesn't.
I wanted the shirt to look form fitting, but also loose, like the material has a loose look to it. I hope that makes sense XD
Thanks a lot for the comment!

Still, the shading on his chest could be more blended, like that on his shirt. :3
That makes sense, and other than those small things the pic looks pretty good!
